Q. IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME WITH RESTYLANE?
You can expect slight redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, itching and/or bruising following Restylane treatment . This is the same as you might expect with any type of injection. However, this is temporary and generally disappears after a few days. Whit lip enhancement, it is wise to choose your treatment time with care since your lips may become swollen and slightly uneven for a few days.

The Restylane gel is injected in tiny quantities using a fine needle. It can be used to soften lines, add fullness and boost condition and tone. The procedure takes about 20 minutes. The treatment benefits can be seen instantly and Restylane does not affect facial expression. No skin test is required because Restylane does not contain any animal-derived ingredients.
Restylane and Restylane Perlane contain pain-reducing lidocaine for a comfortable treatment experience.

Q. HOW LONG DO THE EFFECTS OF RESTYLANE LAST?
One of the great advantages of Restylane is that the effects are long lasting but not permanent. You are always in control of your looks. Recent clinical studies show that top-up treatments prolong duration to around eighteen month.
Facial lines and facial shaping: top-up treatment is usually needed after 6-12month.
Lip enhancement: top-up treatment is normally needed in about 6 month.
Skin revitalization: after an initial intense treatment of 3 sessions 2-3 weeks apart, top-up sessions are normally recommended around every 6 months.
