Nottingham aesthetics and beauty clinic Pure Aesthetics has been awarded the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award.

The company, founded by Helen Allen in 2003, which offers a range of specialist treatments including botox, dermal fillers and laser hair removal as well as a selection of beauty services, was specifically selected by the

Dragon’s Den star last weekend on Twitter.

The SBS Award is a social media-driven campaign designed to raise the profile of small businesses. Every Sunday, Mr Paphitis rewards small businesses that tweet him @TheoPaphitis and describe their businesses in one tweet, including the hashtag #SBS.

Six winners are then announced and retweeted on the Cypriot-born British retail magnate and entrepreneur’s official Twitter account which has more than 500,00 followers.

Helen said: “I was shocked but obviously absolutely delighted when I found out Pure Aesthetics had been awarded the Small Business Award by Theo Paphitis. Our @pureaesthetics Twitter feed went crazy with congratulatory tweets from people which was amazing!

“Thousands of business attempt to win this award every week so for Theo to select a mere six each week and, for Pure Aesthetics to be one of them, is truly incredible.”

The Small Business Award for Pure Aesthetics followed just days after the company was awarded What Clinic? 2018 Patient Service Award for the second year running. Among the prestige treatments on offer on offer at the clinic, based in Nottingham town centre, is the BT Plasma Shower from Beam Wave Technologies, which treats wrinkles and scares, and is exclusive to Pure Aesthetics in the county of Nottinghamshire.
